I could see the upvote/downvote feature getting abused. In theory it's a good idea, but in action I could see people who don't deserve to be downvoted getting downvoted.
Even with Emerald Gold and Platinum I still have a negative karma now. I have only talked to a few people. It may have been because I did not go with some of them wanting to let off some steam.
